That would mean at the earliest, he'd be back in time to have a week to prepare for the regular season. Most likely, he'll be out longer. Either way, he's probably not going to be ready for opening day. That means the Yankees will start the season with one player who played more than 50 games and had an OPS over .800. The lineup will likely feature Juan Rivera, Corban Joseph (in AA, AAA last year), Chris Stewart and Chris Stewart as well as projects like Youkilis, Hafner and Ichiro.
