Well, at least they're using the heck out of their bullpen - maybe their entire pitching staff will have sore necks from snapping them back watching the Yanks scalding those pitches. Tired rotation before they play us? Works for me. -

Good news for Sox fans and the Sox team that Oakland had to trot out as many arms today as they did, with a double header coming up on Saturday and no days of rest before coming to Boston. -

Yanks did Boston a favor by putting a hurting on Oakland today. Imagine if Oakland had swept the Yanks coming into Fenway, with the Sox coming in tired and facing 3 games in 24 hours. Now Oakland has less confidence and fewer bullpen options available tomorrow. If the Sox can have a great offensive outburst tomorrow, then they will have a much greater chance of sweeping the doubleheader on Sat. -

C'mon, they have only walked 12 so far, and allowed but 2 of the Yankees 3 grandslams.
Granderson at 36 HR's and 103 RBI's.
Very, very early on, I took notice of two predictions, a monster season from Mr. GRANDerson and 16 wins from Nova. Matsuigoesmo knows some stuff. -

Harden started and allowed the 1st grandslam to that Cano kid who added some nice numbers to a very decent season today. Same for those youngsters Martin and Granderson. -

Yeah, seeing Andruw Jones go deep for his 10th with but 135 at bats is very cool. Those 27 RBI's and that .357 OBP of his are also easy to love. Real nice piece for the postseason with his experience. -
