    nice retort.  Did you stay up all night thinking that one up?

    I hope CommyContrarian is correct.  In the back of the section of my brain that is a Sawx fan, I have the very same idea...that this team is the next one to reach the series.  We of Sox nation certainly deserve that.  And if there is a lesson to be learned, this team should be the one to teach it to us--that star-laden, top dollar teams can disappoint hugely, while teams with guys willing to fight tooth and nail to get the attention they deserve are well worth rooting for.  A long run in the playoffs would teach that lesson.   My hope is that lesson is out there waiting to happen.
