he honestly needs to go, i dont care how many people like "the trade" the rest of his picks up have been awful (expect ross) tonight 17 of the 20 runs came from guys he added to the team and you could even call it 18 if you count the fact the he ruined bard by putting him in the rotation... -

The only thing this guy did this year is dump payroll which is making his boss Henry and Luchinno happy. If you think people in Boston are goingbto stand for a long rebuild process you are sadly mistaken with the prices they charge for tickets there.

Really???? We are goinveto evaluate Ben from ONE game and blame him for ruining Bard? Listen I know this season is frustrating but that is just a ridiculous notion. -

Umm the vast majority of fans wanted that trade to happen. Dump implies it was easy, shedding Crawford's contract was a miracle.
The fans want to win. Surely you're not implying that carrying these terrible contracts was going to help us.
Now at least we have a shot, depending on the moves made, to sign contracts that are not absurd and to invest better in young talent/farm.
Most fans hated this team, their only regret is that Lackey and Dice K couldn't have been packaged into the deal

A's 20 - Red Sox 2

Again, it's not Henry, Luchino, Ben, BV, and/or all the coach's. IT'S THE PLAYER'S! IT'S THE PLAYER'S! If these PROFESSIONAL baseball player's on the Red Sox team aren't totally embarrassed after geting shalacked by the Oakland A's 20-2, a team whose payroll is rank's in the lower 25% of all MLB team's, then you should see the crux of the problem with the Red Sox team this year, and IMO that is that they are misfit's, malcontent's, still over paid, can't move runner's over, can't bunt, underachieving, swinging for the fence, lead the world in not driving in runner's in scoring position's, can't run the base's, make stupid fielding error's, etc, etc. In other word's, our Red Sox today are the LAUGHING STOCK OF ALL BASEBALL! There I feel better. GO PATRIOT'S! -

That's right-18 of the 20 surrendered runs were from Cherington acquisitions. He is not going to be up to the task of righting the ship. Nor is Luccino. They have made a decent start by getting rid of Beckett and Crawford; now they have to finish the job by firing Cherries, getting rid of Lackey, and reassigning Lucchino to a position where he has no control of baseball operations. About 2-3 years after that we can compete again. Until then its going to really suk to be a Sox fan. -

Only an idiot would trade a player who's growing his hair out. He's not going to make an attention drawing move like that unless he knows he can back it up on the field.
