The Sox luck ran out, the rules have changed, the PO aren't a right.

Ticket prices are high, but markets dictate. Sox fans need to accept the normal cycle of having to rebuild now and then.

    Lucky run (some skill):

-Manny! a huge FA who actually delivered!

    -Ortiz and Lowell finding form.

-Pedro, Lowe, Pedro, and Schilling for peanuts.

    Unlucky run:

    -Westmoreland

-Injury bug (Ells, Crawford, Lackey, Kalish, Bailey, .........

-Breaking down (Lowell, Youk, Beckett, DiceK....

    -Rules changing:

    -- difficult to go overslot

--great players no longer reaching FA

    --luxury tax getting more bite.

    --international FA rules changed

--no longer can you sign a FA like Beltre and then get two picks

The playing field is more level now, it is going to take more brains and good drafting!

you could make a case that some of the rule changes

hit theo /sox m.o. the most

the good news for you guys is

it appears that the luxury tax is finally going to

affect the yanks like it was originally suppose to

till now it really only affected the sox
