The philosophy of this team has been patience and pitch count and walks. Welle, that team doesn't exist anymore. Last nightay, the Red Sox had 1 walk and 12 K's. What players are patient? Where is the Bill James philosophy?

Absolutely right. They used to take pride in signing the "right" players to fit their mold...and they used to stay away from signing players heading into their 30's to long term deals......not sure why that changed...
