When you peddle flesh in Baseball, a cardinal rule is that you never trade pitchers for everyday players at the ML level. We can't seem to get that concept through our heads. Bagwell/Anderson, Murphy/Gagne, Lowrie/Chacon, Reddick/Bailey are memorable in that we came out on the short end of everyone of those deals. We think that we're the smartest guys in the room. We run around with laptops in sling bags and talk the talk,WAR,BABIT,OBP,OPS . Truth be known.....We can't tell the difference between a baseball player and a piano. This crew, Ben's Bunch, is vastly overrated in talent evaluation. For arguments sake, let's say we wanted to move Aceves or Bailey or both. As both these guys will be on the 25 man roster, you can't expect  Texas to give up anything  of value on their  25 man roster, so look for value on the 40 man roster, or non roster prospects at AA level. 3 for 2 shouldn't be a problem......Play Aceves first, (2) players off the 40 man if possible. At least (1) pitcher and (1) position player or (2) pitchers. If they like Bailey better look for a position player off the 40 man first or settle for (2) prospects, one of which is a pitcher. Red flags on all  DL appearances. Ben has to call Jon Daniels first to propose this deal. Start out with I 'd like to move Aceves because he's a pain in the azz in and out of the clubhouse. He'd be closer to his home in Mexico and likes the Burrito's in Texas better than the ones in Boston.      If this is what you want .....go for it.
