The fact that people are pointing out about Fox worrying about who is in the World Series shows why the NFL is so much superior. The city of Pittsburg is similar in size to Tampa Bay but the networks would never worry about the Steelers being in the Superbowl. They would also never worry about the Packers but maybe worried about the Brewers.

If the Rays/Brewers series was a 1 game series played on a Sunday afternoon, there might not be as much worry.

You CANNOT be serious. The Rays? Pixie dust only goes so far. They wouldn't even be there if not for a monumental/historical collapse by the Sox, and Girardi resting his bullpen during #162. I don't want them anywhwere NEAR--ANYTHING. I want them OUT just as bad as I want NYY out. I loathe the Rays, and I can't imagine any Red Sox fan rooting for them, unless maybe if they are playing NYY. And even then, it's 51/49 IMO.

I can see that, as a Yankee fan I'd like to see a different matchup but I don't think the Yankees have the starting pitching depth to get there.  However, as a Yankee fan we were the underdogs, not expected to win the division so I'm just happy to have made it to the ALDS Smile

We're just the little engine that could, playing with house money.

    Rays vs. Brewers

With the additions of Crawford and Gonzalez the bar has been set and that bar is the Boston Red Sox.
