Theonomics = Robert Andino to the Red Sox

I guarantee you Theo is currently drooling over Andino.

Lugo plays well against Red Sox, 36 million.  Lackey pitches a good play off game against Red Sox, 80 million.  Crawford runs all over Red Sox, 130 million... pssstttt Theo, anyone can run all over the Red Sox.

This is how Theo works.  I know we already have a second basemen but we'll just move Pedey to 3rd, tell Henry he's eating the rest of Youk's contract and we're good to go.

Play well against the Red Sox and wait to be absurdedly overpaid.  It is Theonomics.

Of course in many ways Theonomics backfires against the Red Sox.  1 way being that the Red Sox then get maximum effort from all players on the opposing team, because games against Theo are viewed as an audition for that 1 massive, unjustified contract.

    Yes, this is a bump.

He only kills Paps, so if Papelbon is brought back then Andino will be here. :)

I don't mind trading away Youk and open up that hot corner for somebody else... but not Peddy in that spot.  Peddy is born-to-be 2B men.  If Theo decides to bring in Andino for next season, Andino will be sharing duties with Marco at SS Jed Lowrie being at hot corner with Mike Aviles playing backup roll.

Exactly!  You understand Theonomics.  The problem with the Crawford signing is Theo was unable to get Jason Varitek and Victor Martinez to catch for every other team in the American league, thus negating Crawford's value.

You may be right. According to "Theonomics" the Sox may end up with Andino. According to "Theonomics" Andino will then give us a season like Crawford or Lackey just did.  No thanks.

Good news, Andino only made $400,000 this year, so Theo ought to be able to lock him up for about 60 million over 5 years.  Bat him lead-off and move Ellsbury to the 9 hole.

Theonomics states that the next Red Sox manager will be either Maddon or Showalter.

Perfect, except Showalter is being promoted to the O's GM. I would love to see Theonomics implemented by Theo hiring Maddon, THEN firing himself.Laughing Seriously.
