    Closer by committee won't work.  Coke will end up closing - then they will hope Rondon gets confidence at Toledo and bring him up later.

    I went to the opening day game in TB the year the Sox tried it. I left after the 8th and listened to the collapse on the radio on my way to NC to visit my sis.

    Coke will only be an effective closer if the other team complies and only uses left-handed hitters.

     

    And Leyland has had considerable success with closer by commitee...

    moon, I think the Tigers will be the team to beat this season with or without a closer if they keep their starting lineup healthy. 

    Way too much talent to fail otherwise, another shot at the WC is quite possible.
