    Tough loss for the Patriots.

I think the 49ers are going to crush the Ravens, 38-14.

No chance.  The Ravens are much too good of a team right now for that to happen.

The book is Niners by four points. I think they will win by more than that. Probably by 10 points. The Ravens are not that good.

The Ravens are playing very good, and inspired, football in these playoffs.  The key is that Flacco is on top of his game and full of confidence.  He made some great precision passes in the second half against the Pats.

I'm taking the Ravens to cover the spread and I believe they'll win outright.  I plan to wager about $50 using the wonderfully convenient government gambling service we have here.

But it's pro sports and the Niners have been playing very well too, so anything can happen.

Which is why they play the games, we watch and what makes sports so great.

    Nobody likes a bragger! lol

I want the Niners to win, but I wouldn't bet against the Ravens, after what they did in Denver and Foxboro.

I know that some of you enjoy los mediocre rojas, aka the sheriff's song parodies.

Here's one I recently saw sung to the theme to the cartoon Hong Kong Phooey.

Hong Kong brady, number one super spy
Hong Kong brady, gayer than the queerest guy.

He's got style, a feminine style,
and uggs that are just too plush.
When the playoffs gets tough, he's really a mush,
with a Hong Kong brady kick (Hi-Ya!)

Hong Kong brady, number one super spy
Hong Kong brady, gayer than the queerest guy.
Hong Kong brady, he's metro-riffic (gong!)

looking forward to the Harbowl. Big ray lewis fan and i'm excited he has the chance to retire on top

I believe that SanFranciso is the best team and expect them to win.  If this happens I will be happy for Randy Moss to finally get a ring.  He is one of my favorite former Patriots players.

Yeah, they've only won 7 of 8 division titles, 3 Divisional playoff games, 2 conference championship games and the best W/L record in the NFL for the last ten years.

    What's the 'Phins excuse?

LOL, bragging about division titles when you play in the AFC Least with the jests, phins and bills.

And I love that you bring up "best W/L record" in the past ten years, so do the Yankees, yet you bosox fans will always tell us that that doesn't matter.

And you also left out the part about the patsies being 8-7 in the playoffs since spygate, pretty mediocre.

    [/QUOTE]

Got a quote from me saying Yankee wins don't matter?

    Didn't think so...

Should I attribute dumbassed statements from other Yankee fans to you( not that you need any help)?

If playing in 15 playoff games in 8 years makes the Pats mediocre, I'll take mediocre, thanks.

How else do you describe a 1 game over .500 record?

    It's mediocre.

You obviously can't tell the difference between regular season and playoffs.

    Not surprising...

Only those two SB losses count, Paw. ;-)

They did miss the playoff in '08, but still had an 11-5 record, without Brady.

But, obviously, they're just a mediocre team without tapes...

The Pats won all 3 of their Super Bowls by 3 points.  They lost the 2 Super Bowls by 3 points and 4 points.  Small differences all the way around.

No, they have been a pretty good regular season team that benefits from playing the jests, phins and bills 6 times a year. And to their credit they take advantage of it.

Come playoff time when facing the stronger opponents, they have been mediocre.

    Pretty simple.

This team as currently constructed is not built for the playoffs. It is not tough enough and the defense is not good enough to win a ring. As with baseball, preventing the other guys from scoring wins rings even though you can bash your way into the playoffs.

Not a question of being satisfied babe, as much as being a realisit. Can't win every year. Getting to the playoffs for a shot it, is a good place to start.
