    Time to Trade Beckett

Only 9 strikeouts, are you kidding me!

Package him, Lackey, Ellsbury, Lowrie, Youkillis, and Crawford for Felix Hernandez!

    Best Stat:

Beckett has not giving up a run in the last 18.3 Innings.

That stat is amazing. I think the record is around 40+ innings.

Why is low strikeout bad if he's getting outs? I think this is great. He's learning to pitch a game that will allow him to be effective for many more years - not just relying on the power stuff for strikeouts.

Wrong thread. Trade Wakefield for a case of slimfast, to use on Lackey.

Haven't you been listening to Andrewmitch? No GM in baseball would even take Beckett for a PTBNL.

It's funny how we get all these threads about former sox players who were dealt away or let go, and how successful they are now.  Guys like Martinez, Damon, Masterson, Beltre, etc.

How is Hanley Ramirez doing?  And where are all Beckett's crtiics from last year?

This is normal behavior on a team's forum. We also have many fair weather fans on our Yankee forums.

    Are you kidding me?!?

If we offered them that they would laugh this would be more like the deal
Lackey (pay his whole contract), Ellsbury (pay for his future contract), Lowrie, Youk, Crawford (pay his whole contract plus give an additional $1 million), Beckett ( eat his whole contract), Iglesias, Doubront, Bard, and AGon (Eat his whole contract)
And thats just to talk to them about Felix they would make us offer more just to consider it

I've got a better idea. why not send threads and threads like this one to the recycle bin as soon as they are published.

You would waste a rosin bag on that fat loser?

Why can't people understand that every successful athlete is a highly motivated winner, and every unsuccessful athlete is a lazy, greedy loser?

    ----------------------------------

I burst into tears as teenager in Fenway in 1978 when Yaz popped up vs Gossage with the winning runs on base...not because my team lost, but because that poor man "failed" with the weight of the world on his shoulders.

I'm not even a big Yaz guy, never was....I think he's the poster child for Overrated Anonymous.....

....but it's not a binary choice between Yaz "choked" and Gossage "[antonym for choked]"
