    Lackey won't be easy to peddle and he's signed through 2014.     The Lackey we see is as good as he'll ever get.    As it is, John Henry has lost some serious playoff revenue for 2 years in succession and he has no interest in eating any of Lackey's contract.

    I definitely agree with you and don't see Lackey being traded to anyone.  Who would want him considering the season that he had?

    All this talk about "the clubhouse" is fluff.   Winning cures all the BS.   They don't have to like each other.   If one of a dozen things had happened this thread would not exist.  One example, is if Beckett and Lester had pitched in Sep like they had all year.

    Or if Tito had recognized what Hill was bringing to the table earlier than he did, instead of using him in garbage time. Likely cost 2-3 games.
