Dice K is out..and wont be too long before Wakefield goes down due to his back and age. Send a mid level prospect over to the Angels for Kazmir. He is solid to anchor the back part of our rotation. He pitched much better in the AL east then he has in the west. Take a chance! thoughts???

At a time when pitchers era are going down to pre steroids level Kazmir's are rocketing upwards while pitching in a division with the offensively challenged Mariners and A's there has to be better options than this -

I AGREE, IT IS ALMOST ANDREW MILLER TIME. I BELIEVE HE WILL DO A FINE JOB, AND BE IN OUR ROTATION A LONG TIME!

Kazmir is done, I would rather have Andrew Miller or Kyle Weiland brought up than trade for a pitcher who is past his prime. -

Id rather bring Bill Lee or Bruce Hurst out of retirement then put Kazmir out there-- he is done. -

Not to mention 17 walks and only 13 strikeouts in 13 IP.
But on the bright side, Kazmir will be getting paid $12mill this year and has a $2.5mill buyout on his $13mill option for next year, so the Angels might not want to much for a guy whose made 4 starts in the minors and only managed 13 innings pitched... -

Why would you trade for a guy who will undoubtedly be released soon and could be had for nothing but a new contract (which he may not receive even from the most pitching starved teams--Yankees, anyone)?
Besides, the Sox have two lefties at AAA that are far better right now, and hold far more promise. -

Are you for real? Ive been at his last two AAA game and trust me, he makes Lacey look like Curt Schilling. -

Scott Kazmir was roughed up 20 months ago today, but the Angels prevailed:

Doesn't seem a trade is needed. I'm not against giving him a minor league deal to see if he can rediscover himself, but looks like he might be done.
