I said last night that they were going to burst Weave's bubble. Tonight, they are all over Haren like white on rice. That seventh inning explosion last night opened the flood gates. Haren will probably look good for about 3 innings. But the 2nd time through, the boys are gonna eat him up. Big night for Crawford. -

sox are starting to play like everyone thought they would. I think the key is to keep the starting pitching consistent. The hitting will come, but pitching is the key. -

To Joel, Carnie, Upper, Yoshimi, Andrew and Lloyd:
I joined the game threads at the end of last season. Not many were here, due to way the season went, but we hung in until the bitter end. It was a difficult time in my life and without knowing it, you all helped me through it. I came here with the intention of talking baseball and found something I didnt expect...friendships, albeit in cyberspace. I have decided to take a break from the board and the game threads, for various reasons. I may or may not be back, but wanted to thank you and wish you all well.

The Red Sox on Monday scored more runs (9) than they had scored (7) in the entire previous three-game series. The Sox averaged five runs a game in their sweep of the Angels last month in Anaheim. -
