Great call by the OP. Haren looked invincible until the 6th, and Lester didn't look quite as good.
Anyone else notice that, right before serving up the gopher fastball, Lester shook off the sign--I'm pretty sure it was another curve ball--by Saltalamacchia?
I loved the double by Ellsbury, but loved Gonzalez's single even more. What a hitter. Nothing wrong with Lowrie's hit either. I sure am glad Francona put him in the five slot ahead of Drew, or it would have been another Haren K for the 3d out and a tie game.
10 K's already for Lester? Heavens to betsy. -
