this game could have been blown wide open in the first....then jays left the bases loaded. lester didnt have it but kept them in it....i'm happy to be tied and going to extras with a chance to win. all you can ask

I guess Albers could go one more inning. Paps should be able to go one. Okie threw 44 pitches last night, so he won't be used. After that, only Wake remains.

Bard was drafted as a starter out of UNC but failed miserably until they tried him at closer...the rest is history..He couldnt maintain his velocity and control over the course of 9 innings..

Both Albers and Aceves have pitched well since being called up. Unlike Examiner, I think the BP is shaping up (Bard's tie game gaffes notwithstanding).
