    Maybe, but I've never seen anything written about that. Any time it's been written about, it's always been that the catcher and pitcher call the pitches and catchers are looking to the dugout for defensive calls.

    Now everyone has a hit except Pedey, although that ball he just hit should be called a  hit, not an error. That was a tough play.

    here is a lineup, rundown, even though late:

    Jon Lester (14-6, 3.05) @ Luis Perez (3-2, 3.77)

    Lester had a no decision in his last outing against the Yankees, going five innings, giving up 1 run on 7 hits, 3 walks, and 6 K's. Lefty Luis Perez's last start was giving up 5 runs and 2 home runs in 5 innings against the Orioles. Tonight is his 4th start to go w/ 29 relief appearances.

    ha somebody said last night "the sox will score 14 runs tomorrow night" while we couldnt score a single run, while 10-0 isnt 14-0, still want to give kudos to whoever said that, and this game is far from over so we may see 14+

    Another hit by Marco.

    I've said it before and I'll say it again. I am just fine with him at SS. He's very solid at the plate and he's decent on defense. Good range up the middle. His weakness is to his right adn the long throw from the deep hole.

    He's HUGE bobby. saw him play at yale. was an outfielder in college. if i remember correctly, the yale catcher got hurt and lavarnway took over the position. sox drafted him for his bat.
