    July 8th, 1994.


    I was reminiscing with my son about the the Sox and what they were like the year he was born, when we came across this tid bit....

    In that 1994 strike-shortened season the Red Sox finished 4th in the American League East with a record of 54 wins and 61 losses, a winning percentage of 47%, which begs the question as to whether the 2014 team will win 76 games to reach the 47% milestone of that illustrious 1994 team.
