Guess based on your comment we should release Lackey.  His ETA is 5.94 which is alot higher than Wakefield

Not over 2 years, it isnt, and Lackey isnt 45 years old!

No, he's not, and he's not effective 13 years his junior. So should we just accept him in the rotation? I'm a little tired of watching him not come up big when he was once advertised as a No. 1 starter on his former team.

Slackley is terrible value, but he doesnt excuse Wakefield. Slackey was marginal against strong NY lineup, which better than Wakefield would do.

Your complaint is with Theo but equating Lackey with 45 year old Wakefield 5 pus ERA for over 2 years is absurd.

Waste of a roster spot denying investment in youth. 5 plus ERA over 2 years who is a laughing stock circus pulling a Billy Crystal to try and break some meaningless quantity and no quality personal milestone. A distraction and an embarrassment to the integrity of the competion!

sox should release Ellsbury too, that reverse pivot thing will never work.
