Wakefield will be opposed by Brandon Morrow (9-10, 4.78), who has struggled in his last three starts, losing all three while allowing 14 runs in 16 innings pitched. Things are looking up for the 200 quest. -

Glad Wake is pitching tonight. TB already won, and after Wake gives up a few more runs we are back in the wildcard race. What a disgrace to have this guy starting tonight. He can't hold a lead, look at the score.Just looking at the positive side of w Wakefield start. -

come to the conclusion that you can give Wakefield 10 runs and he would make the game interesting. -

I respect Wake for all he has done. I can't watch him pitch anymore. He is getting the softest 200 wins in history. He is an innings eater for sure, but he is old and wild. Nobody else to put out there, so away we go .... -

Wakefield has to retire already. This is a folly already and the only way he is going to win 200 is by fluke. Farrell knows Wakefield and all about the pitch. -

Hope the Red Sox don't allow this freak show to continue much longer. How about refunding the fans their money everytime Wake pitches. The guy had his day. He needs to step aside and allow somebody else a turn. -

I'd say that double steal was like watching a little league team playing the field, but it would be insulting little league teams everywhere. -

The knuckleball circus. Walks , hit batters , wild pitches , passed balls , stolen bases and of course , the inevitable hanging knuckler that leaves the building. Wake make his umpteenth try for the elusive 200th win. -

Just have to hope its a softball game and we can score at will as well. It really is sad that this is the best we can offer. The killer for the division was the horrendous start we got off too. The killer for the season might be the loss of Bucholtz and Matsusaka and our pitching depth and now Beckett.
