    Thanks to the new drainage systems and subsoil the field is playable. Years ago this would have been a rainout.

    I said this a couple of nights ago but no one bit.  Tek comes in batting .128 and gives us his usual lifeless AB.  Why not DH for him and let whoever is pitching   swing the bat?  It would at least be more entertaining.  Beckett BTW is a career .148 hitter.

    You can't be serious, guys.  Just 'cause I told a joke about my beloved Sox?  In case you haven't noticed I have defended our team to the hilt this season and have  argued incessantly with Andrew regarding my confidence that they will get to .500 and beyond sooner than many here thought.

    J-Bay was a funny one to figure out since half the time he argued with Andrewmitch and half the time he enabled him. He apparently was here just for company rgardless of quality.

    Joel, not guys, just one. Pike has about 20 alias'. Long story short, he's the self appointed troll police. calls out anyone he thinks is not a good sox fan or a pretending one. ironic thing is he's the king of the pretenders. jamaicaplains, chrishouse, dangerfeld, mikeyinqueens and losmediasloco and several others. he's on the forum 24/7 under one of the different screen names. pathetic. i've reported it to BDC. we can do a game thread in the private forum, but he's there as silversteinsox but at least it's one screen name and we'll know its him.
