Softy must be losing his mind with Ellsbury coming up with such a huge hit...

Getting back from work at about 9:45 Pacific time, I didn't expect to come home and catch some dramatic Red Sox baseball still going on.  What a treat!

That was one crazy bottom of the ninth.  I thought Terry might pinch hit Salty for Tek.  The chances of his having a multi hit game were slim.

Its good to see they do not want to loose even one more game this season - Go Sox!

I'm glad baseballGM went to be 5 hours ago.  This would just be too much for his heart!  :)

Welcome aboard, los. Good timing.  We had a two and half hour rain delay in the fifth at which time the Sox had not yet garnered a hit off of Santana.  Beckett was great, too.

I was wondering if anyone was on this thread. I got home at 11 and was watching the game on the couch. After the Sox tied, I decided to check out the board.

Some nice clutch hitting in the ninth. That's what I like to see.

And one cool Mariners fan who has been staggered by Wednesday's performances by his fantasy team's bullpen of Brandon Lyon, Eduardo Sanchez and Jordan Walden: combined 1.1 IP, 7 ER, 8 H, 4 BB, 2 K.
