I always liked Jonathon Broxton, big power closer / pitcher.

Yup. Brain lock on the part of the manager tonite. Breslow is tough on LHH: OPSa of just .660. Surprisingly stupid lack of action by Bobby V tonite.

That was quick. A homerunnto that head case Delmon Young who threw a bat at an umpire in the minor leagues about 3 years ago. I remember it because it was against the Pawtucket Red Sox.

Marshall/Broxton/Chapman = Nasty Boys II. This is how sick Chapman is. In the month of July he converted 14 saves, did not give up a single run, and struck out 33 batters in 15 innings. He's the most dominant closer I personally have seen as far as just pure power. Two out double by Quentin just now though.

Hoping they start lava next game, he goes 3-4 with 2 doubles and a homer, stays hot the rest of the year, and is our starting catcher for the next ten years plus.

OK, hold them here and we got Ciriaco, Ellsbury and Crawford in the 9th. It can be done.

Honestly, taking 2 of 3 against Det. isn't bad. Knock the Twinkies around this weekend to make up the deficiency.
