    We brought up Iggy instead. Probably a late inning defensive replacement only. Otherwise if he bats, look for lots of outs. Keep Avilies at SS!!

    I still love Youk, but it seems clear his body is breaking down! 

    Time to call up the kid, & I don't mean Iggy!!!!!!

    He proved he's fine with the thumb issue by playing healthy game yesterday even though he went 0-4.  Even if Middlebrooks doesn't get called up today, it won't be anything related to his thumb issue.

      Not a bad debut !!!!   2 for 3 on a cold Fenway night against a pretty good young pitcher......... As Dad would say........  "Son, youth is the lifeblood of baseball" !!!!
