    The best thing to do w/ Crawford at this point is to bat him 9th and put him in the line up every day.  Let him work things out on his own over time.  But to bat this guy anywhere's else especially leadoff is pure insanity as is it to give him time off and put him under a microscope of questions.  Just bat him 9th and eventually he'll figure it out.  And tell him that's the plan - "Carl, you're gonna be in there every day but in the 9th hole until further notice....Don't try and do too much, just focus on good AB's and getting a pitch to hit.  And I want you to look at tape w/ Magadan tonight"........

    I don't understand why he's batting leadoff.  While his OBP has improved over the years and I think he is very capable of maintaining a .350ish he ain't more than that; Crawford also hates batting leadoff, and he's struggling right now.  All those reasons combined somehow put him in the leadoff spot, and that just makes ZERO sense.

    Don't get my wrong, I think Crawfrod is a great player and it's not if he will turn it around, it is a matter of when.  He's going to get hot soon; he could go 5-5 tonight, or he may continue to struggle and go 0-4....who knows.

    Hey don't blame me, blame the Wonder Boy.  But this is where CC belongs and it's the best place for him until he can turn it around.  Hopefully, by Memorial Day Weekend he'll be back where he belongs.
