A BB type who knows what he wants to do and moves in that direction all the time.
Makes sure that he tells the FO he wants players who fit the system.
If it means moving established guys who are now on the team now then do it.
Set goals across the board for all players for when they come to ST.
Set workout programs for in season so players maintain strength and conditioning.
    A 25 for 1 goal team.

More of a statistical guy with a mix of old school qualities.  Also a guy players respect and listen to, otherwise they ride pine until they do.

    Maddon fits the bill

One who is not afraid to sit or bench a starter for lack of effort. One who does not need to be the players parent or friend. One who is not afraid to play some small ball. One who is aggressive on the basepaths. One who knows when to pull his starters cause they are gassed. One with baseball savy.

I would love to get Maddon but I doubt we will. I;m sure we will hire the right guy, but he needs experirence, and a more no-bull attitude.

    We need someone like Bosox1941.

Or better yet, Scott8430 and his Baseball 101 lessons.

Or better than them, someone who took Baseball 102!!!

Smart, disciplined, likes to take long walks on the beach, and isn't afraid to cry.
