Wow, this guy Stengel has figured us out after just 37 posts.  BaseballGM is the leader of the pack.

    Not.

BaseballGM has a few known dislikes and I think just one like on the Red Sox.  The like is the greatest rightfielder in the game today, J.D. Drew, who leaps tall buildings at a single bound, but eschews rbi's and things like that.    The dislikes are Ellsbury, Crawford, Wakefield, and, lately, Francona.

Just getting rid of Timmy's face for a few weeks would wonders to change the attitude on this team.

Are you talking about Wakefield or about the person using this GM identity.
Because this personal assault on a player you don't even know is rather disturbing.
Can you actually differentiate yourself from Tim Wakefield at this point?

"Getting rid of Timmy's face for a few weeks" - R U serious? Do you actually realize what you are doing?

How about set timmy up to pitch day games or venues that suit him i.e Tampa.

He could start or pitch key innings out of the pen, all other times he's your mop up man.  With the knuckleball being more effective in warmer weather it makes sense to play to his strengths.
