    What's your over/under?

OK, the roster is almost set and I reckon it's prediction time. I'm going to arbitrarily set the over/under on the Boston Red Sox at 85 wins. Time to put your money where your mouth is. I'm taking the over. Anyone else?

Wow, 150 million in labor costs and you are really bold and going out a twig with over 85 wins. Yes, I'd say the odds are better than 50/50 the Red Sox will be play a little better than an embarrassing .500 baseball.

    [/QUOTE]

So you're taking the over, considering that 85 wins is a borderline playoff team?

85 wins in the AL east is not a "borderline playoff team".

The 2 guys I was calling for were Ross (David) and Shane. Boith will be solid additions to this team. Some may not like it right now, but come this summer I think a few will change their tune.

    Over.

The line up is good if no major injuries. The BP is excellent.  If the starters pitch up to capabilty this team makes the playoffs. of course that is a big if.

My prediction would be for the team to win 85 games or so. But if I have to pick the over under I pick over.

If healthy, then the Red Sox will win around 87 games.

The AL East is pretty evenly balanced and up for grabs.  At this point, any team can win the AL East.

    im going .500

that would be a  12 games improvement....

and hopefully the best part is the youngsters develop....

So after an entire offseason of complaining, you are predicting a nearly 20% improvement in wins?!?   What exactly were you complaining about again?

80 ish, but that was my point prediction for T. Seguin as well.

The whole Marlinization of the Jays and Ensure ization of the Bronxers makes the neighborhood more interesting.
