who wins the 10th player award this year?

NOBODY!! just kidding, i think i might give it to Andrew Miller, after last year i expected him to flounder in AAA or be released and now he seems to have found his niche and had a pretty good year. Ciriaco imo too small a sample size.

10th player is a tough one.

I am trying to come up with 9 good ones.

Can they waive this award in a season where most of the team stinks?

The "10th player" is the fans.  Its a fan choice award, not a "best bench player" award.

Its Cody Ross, in a landslide.

    Surprised no consideration for Middlebrooks.

A tie, CC for waving his limited trade clause and Beckett for waving his 10/5 rights.

    I'd say Ciriaco or Middlebrooks.

I thought it was "the player who gives more than expected" award?

There should be no awards of any kind this year.

Ciriaco, very few had faith in the guy because all they wanted to see was Iggy.  Ross comes in second although Fenway has probably helped his stats, much like Coors Field does.
