Have to make up 'Reverse Pivot' T-shirts with a picture of Ellsbury.  Send one to Softy as a gift of course.

The only rule is you have to make fun of softy at every opportunity.  Sarcasm is certainly welcome.  Softy will quote small sample sizes to refute any successes by Jacoby.  For example, he might have gotten two hits today but his other two plate appearances he went 0-2.  Just be aware.

Kemp is padding his numbers in nothing games on a last-place team.  Ellsbury in a pennant race goes 2 for 4 against King Felix with a home run.

Don't trod on Softy so much. As Harness says "Softlaw's Jake act kept the forum alive last year". It takes two to tango and they were lined up around the block for a chance to dance with Softlaw / Harness.

[QUOTE] To my many kind fans on this NY Times board, I've been busy dealing with my "corpse" of clients from our 59 United States, preparing for the next federal approriation of private property to pay another year of entitlements for the aging and increasing number of indolent Wards of the State. Give The Man all the rope he asks for, so he doesn't have to choose between paying himself and the little old lady who will be forced to starve because of Big Oil, fat cats and those with no skin in the game.  Mr. John Henry, keep up the good Red Sox stewardship, and tell Mr. Luchino to shorten the leash on the ape suited fantasy baseball mind. You deserve better.

Really? That explains it all! Softy is from the future, at a time when we have more states. He sees that Ellsbury will someday be asked to drive the team bus from the hotel to Yankee stadium, and will fail to yield the right of way to an oncoming truck. The entire team will be either hurt or killed. Softy is trying to protect our team by getting rid of Ellsbury before it's too late. Take it easy on him! Softy is Scot Bakula--trying to set right what once went so horribly wrong. It's why he has so many identities. Every day he "awakes to a face that's not his own." Softy is our loveable leaper!

I just reverse pivoted to type in my response to get signed up.

What is Kemp's nickname any way?  Is it as cool as Tacoby Bellsbury?  That is the main thing to consider with the two players.

And yet he blames Theo for signing Crawford and others for their
    career year(s).

One big difference: Kemp is doing it in the retirement league.

You are all in, Yaz.  Softy is already quoting Ellsbury vs. LHP which is all he has left.  He quotes this ignoring all the other positive stats Jacoby brings to the table.  I thought it was time for us all to strike back at the Soft one!

Then he has nothing. Because Jake is a career.296 hitter vs. lefties - and Softy goes by career norms.

I'm sure Softy has scruples, and won't change the goal line for ego's sake...
