Ask him to go voluntarily down to the minors, to figure things out. If he refuses. DFA him. Unless we are very lucky or some GM is very drunk or high, we will retain him. Perhaps he could turn things around. Why keep a spot for him on the 25 or 40 man roster. Give some young guys a chance the last month & 1/2. The good of the team should come, before his ego. He has been awful all year. We can always hope the Great Odd Year holds true next year.
