Lead off walk always leads to a run.
I agree.  Lead of walks are bad new, unless it is Sox batting.

That too it was a Lefty, let him go after a 3-2.

    Nice DP there Lester.

Sox are dealing today.  Starting in the WS of '04, Sox have never trailed the Cards so far in WS.

Hope Sox can get to Wacha tomorrow, and go up 2-0.  That will be huge.

Kept your cool, Jon.  Impressive DP.  Keep at it!

Red Sox in 2013 World Series, Patriots in 2014 Super Bowl!

Yes because I am going to Game three in St. Louis and prices on stubhub may go down if Sox are up 2-0.

Bats have cooled a bit. A little less patient at the plate?

At least they got it right.   Give them credit. A couple of years ago this was never an opportunity to challenge.

Matheny needs to sit down. In no way is it needed to argue in another direction.
MLB really needs to speak to the ump.  That wasn't even remotely close.  It just about missed his glove completely.  It's easy enough to miss ten pitches a game, or a check swing.  The ump is maybe 6 feet away, the ball barely clicks his glove, his throwing hand is a foot away from his glove, and the ump thinks he was in the process of transferring the ball?  Someone sitting on the monster wouldn't have missed that call.

Most forum regulars who also go to the other BDC forums are familiar with Harvey Wallbanger / Rusty. He has been banned from those forums hundreds of times. He comes into those forums with the intent to annoy serious loyal Boston fans. Ask others if you don't believe me.  Why J-Bay doesn't notice obvious trolls and get disturbed by them is very puzzling to me. Is J-Bay a politically correct politician and spreading himself so thin that he has zero character. Did you know that J-Bay has Babe on his Christmas card list? Talk about diluting your principles.

Hi Beachboy, welcome to the forum.  I don't know why you're letting it bother you so much.  If you don't like one of the posters, just don't read their posts.  It's pretty easy.
He's not new. He has to be a troll if he knows who I am.
If he is, he clearly doesn't want to admit it.  If it makes him feel better to pretend to be someone else, why not let him.  I'll just assume he is who he says he is.  I just wanted to share with him the best way to deal with trolls.  Ignore them if they bother you.  I find them entertaining sometimes, so I'll read some of their posts and reply if I feel like playing the game.

It's an adjustment period for both pitcher and hitters. Plus a couple of gift strike calls recently. Maybe to keep game in reach? I dunno.
