Yes the ump has caused me to curse him out a few times as I sit looking at my big screen in disbelief as I watch what is the curse of Breslow.   He may be done forever Ive seen it before.

Well......  So much for my great call for Middy to come in!

I don't know?  Does Boggy make that play?  Middy should have had it.  Yeh!  It was ripped, but a really good 3rd baseman makes that play.

An average third baseman makes it

Doubront was pitching just fine.  Why pitch hit for him with empty bases and two outs?

Breslow was the victim of poor fielding tonight.  Middlebrooks is toast.

I guess removing Drew wasn't a good idea. Removing Doubie was even worse.

And all that PH that removed Drew and put WMB at 3rd bought nothing but trouble.  Seemed a little too early to pull that stunt.

If Farrell had been patient, Doubie would have still pitched, Drew would have played at SS and Bogey would have played at 3B.  But all that is hindsight.  Have to live with this wreck now.

get middlebrooks out of the f'in game.  The guy can't hit, he swings at the first pitch and pops up.  He can't field his position - Xander is better at 3rd.  I understand Drew isn't hitting but he IS fielding his position

Who are you going to put at 3rd base with Drew out of game ?

We all knew Drew was in the line up for his glove, not his bat....Farrell is managing azz backwards....you don't take your better infielder out in the late innings.

Re: World Series Game 3 Thread: Red Sox at Cardinals

Bad luck all around.  All Farrell moves have gone the other way pretty much.  Could have let Dubront stayed and pitched some more, he was cruising.  The Middlebrook couldn't do anything with his bat hitting for Drew, Bogaerts messed up the throw that Drew might have made, then Middlebrook did not make the play that Bogaerts might have made.

I agree Drew is pathetic, but Middlebrooks is not great. I was hoping they would get Michael Young from The Phillies at the trade deadline and send Middlebrooks to the minors longer.

When you have so many guys nut hitting your forced to make the moves Ferrell did. At least we don't have to watch Drew try and hit anymore.

Does Farrell have a bench coach who can give him some advice? I'd like that job because I'm

managing the game better than Farrell.

Pedroia hits a rocket down third base line and its caught. A cheap ground ball and it scores two.
