I like the replay of the HR with the effects on the ball.  Looks like a comet.

The thing is , Lackey is still good to go in Game 6. This was his throw day anyway. So, he threw in a big situation?  So what ? This is the World Series. All hands on deck. I swear, some of you would complain about anything.

    [/QUOTE]

I mean there is a little higher tension, and you risk not getting him work but still he was going to throw anyways.

He is putting the wood on the ball, he will get his range next.  Good to see him persevere.

I agree.  Lackey isn't the first starter to relieve in a World Series and he won't be the last.  He only threw 17 pitches; he 'll be ready game 6.  We have to pull out all stops to win tonight.

John Lackey, #RedSox World Series hero. Can't image anybody saw that coming a year ago.

Have to admit I was a lackey basher a couple of years ago but I really admire how the guy has turned his career around.

Agreed. I'm guilty of that too. Maybe there was a lot more going on than even we knew about. Family etc. I know about his ex, but who knows. I'm happy for him. Debatable. Keep him due to his cheap vet min on back end or trade him because it's an attractive deal? I say keep. After what he's shown me this season and offseason.

Didn't he pitch out of the BP in this series.  At least good to know he is available when needed.  He has been a class act this year.

Yeah he has. Especially after the past couple of games, yeah defense is at a premium right now. him and Ross both need to play. Ross at least squares it up.

No doubt. His glove is the only reason he starts. he's the best infielder (defensivly) the sox have. Pedroia a close second
