Kapler is on Fox sports, says Wainright's velocity has been ticking up all season, and is at a season high 93 mph last game.

Wonder what's in the water in the St Louis area, all their pitchers are in the mid to high 90's seems like.

Tough couple of weeks for Josephine; he lost his two girlfriends in Detroit, Verlander and Scherzer. McCarver may have to go back to Cialis.

maybe he can go visit Dgalehouse and his husband!!!

Wonder if Doubie feels good to contribute like he has done so far in post season.  He was disappointed not to be a starter.

I would be if I was him.

Yep.  Very humble.  Not too eloquent, or fancy with words, love the guy.

The last 3 games have ended on a mistake by somebody.

Physical errors are one thing. This was a beauty. There was no reason to be even two feet off the bag. His run was irrelevant. Two outs. Beltran, the tying run at the plate. That was one of the dumbest things I have seen all year. Not that I am complaining.

Some good points are that Jon Lackey only threw 17 pitches, not many for Tazawa, and Koji either. Point being they should all be aavailable for tomorrows game with the exception of Lackey.

I shiver to know Bres and Morales are also available Wink

Me two, but pray a lot, it helps.

I'd be amazed if we saw anything of Morales this series.

Breslow, umpires, Kolten Wong. In that order.

Based on how last night's game ended and how  this game ended, one might say two WONGS make a right. Or maybe not.

    Double entendre ?

    Bres ?

Yeah, Breslow is definitely starting to look a little haunted out there but guys really haven't been hitting the ball hard off of him and he simply pitched around Beltran tonight.  But his control is definitely not where it was during the division or championships series.

How important was that to bring Naps to 1B for Papi.  Don't know if Papi would have picked off Wong like Naps did.

He'll be referring to me. Because god forbid the idea of steroids and these ungodly Cardinals rookies who look like CY Young every time they throw the ball is even spoken of! It's all natural! Without understanding how rare it is to find a guy who throws 98-99 with accuracy And movement. And to have 5 or so rookies all doing the same? It's like hitting the lottery 5 or more times in one year.  And that, just plain old isn't happening. And he won't accept that. So sorry on my end.
