Of course we all prefer to win this Game 5, but I think this team could lose tonight and take the last 2 at home....on the other hand, I think the Cards need to win tonight....can't see the Sox going home up 3-2 and not winning it, even against Wacha and Kelly who pitched so well their first games....Home has been sweet to the Sox all year

Kelly in a potential game 7 IN FENWAY I'd bet scares the Cards' coaching and front office.

He is just average at ss at best.

Brilliant. Who plays SS then? Bogaerts? If Bogey is at SS who plays 3B? Middlebrooks? No thank you. We are stuck with Drew because he is the lesser of two evils in comparison to Middlebrooks.

Gotta keep Papi in there at 1B tonight. He is the only guy hitting with consistency.

[/QUOTE] hey tom, i don't think anyone doubts that(has been proven quite often this season) but i do think both teams are capable of dropping this one and then winning two straight...IMO this WS has been pretty even footed...neither team has outclassed the other(in part to both team "whole roster" approach) though there's absolutely no doubt the Sox comfort level would be off the charts back at Fenway...with both of you bringing an "A game" i wouldn't bet against either team closing out in G6

4 more hours, and still no lineups.

Key uncertainties are - Ross over Salty, Vic over Nava over Gomes.

That's a tough decision - good bat that can be a liability at 1B and base paths versus bad bat against lefty pitcher.  Shows desperation at that spot.

I am glad Sox have no such dilemma.
