AFNAV, have you ever tried to throw a fastball when the temperature is in the high 30's?

    Probably not.

Its not over yet. Stop talking like its in the bag.  Lackey is just getting by.
This I agree with. That error hurts. His PC is getting up there.a K here or DP would be nice.
Two errors from two most unlikely fielders in Pedey and Drew today, cost Lackey about 15-20 extra pitches.

But he should still be good for 6 innings at the least.
Drew was not charged with an error was he?
nope which was wierd
Tough play and he may have beaten it out anyway.

BS. someone told him to knock off whatever he was on. You don't drop back to your college velocities accurately just because you are hurt. I think MLB had a conversation with the Cards.
You're crazy dude.
Okay, then explain. So far, he's the only starather other than Buchhoz to be drastically under his playoff velocity. If anything, Wainwright was better in game 5 than his game 1.  Wacha was hitting 96-97 effortlessly game 2. Not so much tonight. Go read his college scouting profile and tell me which one matches up. Tonight, or the what he was every other game this year? 93-94 top at 95? Or 97+. Yeah, I do my research. Sorry bro.
If you did your research, you would know PEDs don't work that way; even if you stopped cold, it would take a long period of time for it to take effect.
Depends on what it is I'm sure. whatever. I see with my own eyes. You don't drop that much average velocity, in this case 3-4 mph just because.
Unless it was amphetamines, but that usually involves concentration, not power or strength.
They probably have stuff we've never heard of. They are always trying to stay ahead of the curve. I dunno. When I see things that don't make sense, they don't make sense. This is what I assume a guy like Wacha with his lack of pro experience would be doing and look like. Not mowing down playoff lineup after veteran laded playoff lineup. And here's Seigcrist. He was throwing 99 he's at 95-96. Ortiz's bomb game 1 was on a 99 mph pitch.

I know this game isn't over yet, but I'm just really proud of how the Sox showed up tonight. They knew this was maybe the biggest game of the season, and they've delivered so far.

Love it, and keep it going!

His average is 93ish. One game here and there sure. You could have a good day.  when you constantly throw 98-99 for months, and every postseason appearance until tonight, that's odd. Sorry.

Both Pedey and Carpenter commit similar errors.  Wonder if the ball is taking a funny pitch there today.
