I would rarely, if ever, see a red flops hat down here unless I went to the boston bar. But now they are much more common, although still greatly outnumbered by Yankee hats down here.

I agree. I stated as much when I talked about doing the poll after the Sox win. Again, someone feeling unneccessarily threatened...maybe not so unneccessarily?
