You're the same guy who predicted great things for Arod last year.

How did that work out for you?
And you great things for the Red Sox, and first place for the Rays.

    And then disappeared.

                           Wrong again Pop's.

Aside from a 1 month honeymoon in June I was here.

Now that I think of it, it was you that disappeared when the Yanks tanked in Oct.

When the Red Sox tanked you did your usual vanishing buffalo imitation returning after the season was over.

Funny coming from a guy who predicted "tumbleweeds" the day after the election from Obama supporters on the political threads but then was a no show himself.....

Tell me more about the importance of the Gallup Daily tracking poll!!!

What can I say? Hard to beat Santa Claus.

I do go over there occasionally but dealing with the parasites of society on a regular basis is not too appealing.

Well as a Yankee fan who makes a habit of trolling a Red Sox board, I guess you are uniquely qualified to identify "parasites".
I've been a member here since 2004 probably long before you.

As far as "trolling" I don't recall any posts from me during the season mocking the Sox as bad as things got during the 2012 season.

Don't deny I defend the yankees from what i consider to be unfair attacks.
Fun fact..... In 2012 The Red Sox and Yankees combined to win less ALCS games (0) than Barack Obama did Presidential Elections(1).
Whatever floats your boat.

Mocking the Yankee's 2012 season is ballsy from anyone who follows the Red Sox considering some of the drama that transpired at fenway.

Remember preseason 2012 when a lot of folks said the Yankees couldn't compete?

    Too old.

They had a lot of injuries and still had a decent season after all there is only one true winner at the end of the season.

Pretty good, TWM. My fathger was a die hard sox fans and passed his love and passion down to us. He longed for but never saw them win it all. I've seen them win, twice. If I never see it again, I'm satisfied.

And my Uncle too. Passed away 3 years ago but lived long enough to see the Sox win it all.

Probably not, why the Sox don't offer more is beyond me.  Offer Youk 13mil for next season with a team option/buyout in 2014.  I would take him back at 1B and we could certainly use a backup for Middy.  I'm not sure management likes Youk at this point, maybe bridges were burned or they just feel he will land on the DL again.  Hes no different than Ells at this point so why not give him one more opportunity?

So the fanbase that reflexively says "27 rings" when backed into a corner is now counting moral victories?  Good to know.
You're trying to be argumenative and coming off as shallow and stupid.

Impossible to win every year. The yankee fans have been blessed with 27 championships.

My team has won the WS championship 17 times in my life time how are you doing?
Pretty good, TWM. My fathger was a die hard sox fans and passed his love and passion down to us. He longed for but never saw them win it all. I've seen them win, twice. If I never see it again, I'm satisfied.
And my Uncle too. Passed away 3 years ago but lived long enough to see the Sox win it all.
Sorry. My Dad passed away a month before they won, in 2004. It was bittersweet, but we knew he would have wanted us to enjoy it and celebrate. and did we ever.:)
Great story JBay, he was celebrating too.
Before he passed, he said he wouldn't live to see them win, but we would.  As much as he wanted to, I think he wanted it more for us.  I had my doubts. My hope is, someday I'll see him again and we'll talk about how they finally won it all and he can tell me how he helped them do it;)
Over a couple of pints I hope :)

    Same.

Seems like most of the fire has gone out of the Sox-Yanks rivalry of late...we have to worry more about the Orioles and Blue Jays nowadays.

I hope Youk does well for himself wherever he ends up.
"fire has gone out of the Sox-Yanks rivalry.

That has more to do with the Sox than NY.

That may change as the Sox work at improving their team.

Thanks to "coupon clipping Hal" the Yanks are falling back into the AL East pack.

The Yanks have several players of age coming off of injuries.

Can Robertson rebound to 2011 form and assume set-up role?

Who will play 3rd, and can they build their bench on limited payroll?

For the first time in memory the Yanks have legit concerns which in the past were dealt with by simply throwing more money at the problem. Money that now appears scarce.  If TWM reads this than I'am sure he will tell us that all the Yanks problems will all dissolve with the constant flow of future HOF prospects currently in the Yanks farm system.

It's always about me with you I rent space in your head.

You conveniently ignore that while GS was alive I also wrote for years in numerous posts that Yankee fans should enjoy because things would change drastically after GS passes.

And they have, the old man was a genius who could leap over any financial obstacle baseball put in front of him.

Yankees like most other teams have talented youngsters in the farm system.

Yankees best talent finished 2012 at high A. But you might see Mark Montgomery next season.

If the Yankees want to compete in 2013 and get under the 189 payroll cap next season simple just give away enormous 1 year contracts and wait until the next wave is ready.
"RENTING SPACE IN YOUR HEAD"

Your responses to my every comment tells me you have that backwards.

"BEST TALENT FINISHED 2012 AT HIGH A BALL"

Sorry but no longer feel you have the ability to grade prospects.

Case in point. The 3 Killer Bee's to be added to the 2012 roster. Never happened.

Montero would tear up the league. Never happened.

The list goes on and on.

"IF THE YANKEES WANT TO COMPETE"

You're saying the Yankees have decided they don't want to compete in 2013.

Banuelos lost for the 2013 season for TJ surgery still a great prospect.

Montero was hitting in the worst offense in the AL one that was ranked one number 27 of all 30 MLB teams.

So based on his rookie season where he hit a number of times 4 and 5 in the lineup I say your comments re; Montero just shows how stupid you are. Was a bad trade for the Yankees I have no expectations for Pineda.

A very long way to go before the 2013 season, to be honest I've not been impressed with the FA crop this off-season including Hamilton because of his background and because of the type of contract he wants and can understand the Yankees not wanting to meet the demands of a few of these people.

I think the difference in the ownership post GS is that GS would have been involved in the Cepedes and Yu Darvish free agencies where these folks just let them pass.

But no one is more stealth than Cashman and the Yankee do have some chips even if there is something percolating the media in the case of the NY Yankees would be last to find out.

             Too funny TWM.

You mention Banuelos but what happened to the other 2 killer bees?

Bottom line is Montero's numbers were'nt anywhere near what you predicted.

That and he is a butcher behind the plate which is why Seattle talked with Napoli with the intention of having him catch or play 1st.base to free up their other catcher/1st baseman. Bottom line is Montero is viewed as a DH which is what I have been saying all along.

Go back and you will see me posting here all of last season except for the 1 month honeymoon.

You say you were on political board during Oct. when the Yanks tanked. Love your timing.

Guess we can add politics to the list, baseball being on top of things you know very little about.

You have more excuses then the GOP.

Re: Youkilis has a 1 year 12M offer from the Yankees

The Yankees should have used the $12 million to either resign Martin or Chavez.  Chavez is a very good defender.  Martin is a much better catcher than what they have now.
