    makes sense...great clubhouse guy...could put some time in at first, and you could also then sign rocco, as millar could do some outfield work. (yes, I know, he's no speed merchant) but did hit 20 homers for the birds...

    i don't want to ever see millar in the redsox outfield again......maybe in the same roll as casey last year....but come on .....the guy could never really play the outfield anyway and now hes 4 years older!!!!!

    Bring back Millar!

    I like Kevin Millar as much as everyone, but I don't think signing Kevin would be going forward, but rather backward. The Red Sox really need a lefthanded hitting 1B/OF. The team might make an exception to that purpose by using Jeff Bailey to backup Youk and may continue to hold onto Chris Carter who might be the perfect fit to replace Big Papi when his current contract expires, but whatever the resolution of those issues, Kevin Millar should not be in the team's future rather than develop younger players.
