Cassell stick to flag football. You're worse than our 3rd string QB at AHS. The entire team's moral is going down the toilet because of this guy. I would bet anyone out there that BC's QB could do better then this BOZO.

    Thanks for nothing.
stop winning!

"It says something that Miami had to resort to such trickery but they made it work. NE will be ready on Nov 23 for that again"

Hey, pallie, it wasn't "trickery" if they used it over and over and the Pats were even unable to adjust to it in the 2nd half. It was actual game scheming that took away the main Pats' D- asset, the ability to cover gaps. Even your Bahhhston writers admit there was no "trickery" here. It was a soound game plan and the Patsies had no answers for it. Worse, your team was exposed as one-dimensional pretenders with Cassell at QB.

Oh, and if you believe the Phins will use exactly the same package again on Nov. 23rd you are dreaming, They will add yet more new wrinkles and your team still won't have any answers.

Prediction for that game in Miami (which is NE's real house of horrors):

    Miami 44 NE 20

My relatives in the Magic City can hardly wait, they are yelling for the rematch already!

Yep. The craks in all this became evident the last few weeks of the season last year- no pass protection and only Brady's brilliance let them get away with it.
Should have blown out the Giants in the Super Bowl.

Except for the kicking game and special teams, the Pats simply were outplayed by the Dolphins. Matt Cassell is starting to scare me a bit because he just looks uncomfortable and inexperienced. Can't blame Cassell for the loss but if he continues playing like he did against the 'Fins, make sure O'Connell is ready to play and put him in to hopefully ignite the offense in some way. Bottom line, the Pats were outplayed and outcoached in all aspects.

    Take the poll:

Was yesterday's game an aberration, or will we see more of the same after the bye?

Who will be the starting QB against th 49ers?

Cassell deserves a chance to acclimate. The season is still young. The Dolphins have always been primed to beat The Pats regardless of W-L records, previous history, etc..

Yesterday's game was a total blowout but a chance for a wake-up call for The Pats. Belichick will, hopefully, make the adjustments.

The Patriots came into yesterday's game on autopilot which, as was learned, cannot be done against any team.

Not remotely ready to give up on this season or make major adjustments except for attitude/intensity adjustment.

There is always next year Romeo will be back after getting released from the Brown's get rid of Pease Def Coord.

Brady will be back hopefully well healed ?

Kraft spends some money to bolster the offensive line with good young talent.

Cassell never should have been considered for this position they had the better of 3 weeks to get another QB ready to go following the bye week and didn't do anything accept invite Rattay and Sims in to send them home again. Bad move now you are out time and Cassell can not play at this level. He is hesitant but on top of it can't throw the ball downfield. Get a QB in here quick or give O'Connell the ball it can't get much worse. As to the comment above on which TD could have Brady stopped-Half of them because the offense would have been on the field and the D would have a minute to rest. Its bad, real bad and I hope they are out looking for an answer

I think the Dolphin coaching staff and their offence won this game and outcoached and fooled the Patriots. The Pats defense was fooled and outplayed. How can you win a game when you give up 38 points? Score 39+ and we all know that wouldn't have happened anyway.

Don't blame Cassell. He doesn't call the plays. He doesn't control the offensive linemen's blocking or lack of it. Brady had a bad day early in this first year and threw short passes also. Give Cassell a break.

Booing a team that had just won 21 straight and walking out on them? How pathetic is that? All you Pats fans turn on a dime. Instead they should be cheering them. Obviously, these fans only come out of the woodworks when its all good but when its all bad, they forget. Shame

It is not surprising how many negative comments are posted from out-of-towners. That's what happens when they get a VERY rare opportunity to join the bandwagon.

It proves The Patriots remain the envy of fans in the other 44+ states (the "+" is for Connecticut, which has a large following of Giants fans).

"All you Pats fans turn on a dime.' ??? Talk about painting us all with a broad brush! I agree that the past few years have brought out the bandwagon fans but there are plenty of us who have been fans since the 1990s when the Pats were under .500. That being said, the run defense was very disappointing yesterday and the Pats were flat out-coached.

Dolphin fans have bought all the express tickets for that ride. That bus is full. We'll take the next one that goes to the Super Bowl.

MRJ, you are a true fan. But all those losers who walked out on this team on Sunday are not fans. The Pats cannot be expected to win every game. They did not play well but they should still be recognized for doing something that NO other team has accomplished. Its like booing Joe DiMaggio after his 56 game hitting streak ended.

This game was Ugly all around. Pats not ready to play.

Miami played a college game... direct snaps and halfback pass. hurry up etc. Pats did not adjust and were in a fog.

ALSO, Pats have to get a quarterback that's that at least has some tools and can read a defense better. They should be able to trade a draft pick/player for a much better second stringer. What they have now is not the answer this year. Pats should not cocede the rest of the year , they still have great offense players and with a little better qb might still get into the playoffs. The team deserves a short at winning this year without Brady.
