2007 Patriots Organization who suffered a collective brain embolism during Super Bowl Week.
Not the entire "organization" just the offensive line that forgot how to block, and ruining a historical season....

The 2005 Red Sox season was derailed in large part to Jason Veritek's elbow injury.

These highlights make you realize how great the Patriots are at compensating for injuries to its star players.

What about Manny Ramirez' left knee... I mean right knee... no, no, it was the left knee (checking MRI) ok, uh can't tell anything here.... anyways I KNOW it was one of his knees last season 'cause he said so.
Of course, it was all better by the time he got traded to the Dodgers so don't look for it on the LA Times list of their top sports injuries.

How about the brain injury to John McNamara that caused him to leave Buckner in the game in the late innings, after having substituted Dave Stapleton for defenseive purposes throughout the stretch drive?
