hull beat carver at the buzzer 56-54. gilmore had i think 15 and triant had quite a few. he got a way with a ton of over the back calls tonight.

the better player won, not the better team

cohasset didn't rely on mccarthy they had other scoring options but he was just one of the most selfish players in the league and took every shot. Hull does rely on Triant however. if he has a bad game and doesn't meet his average they're screwed. they even have to put him and pari at guard spots some time because thats how much of an unbalenced team they are.

abington killed cohasset tonight by like 30.
not sure if cohasset is that bad or abington is that good but either way it was a blow out.

i was at the game. hull looked sloppy, missing almost all of their contested shots. EB played good D for their size and got points and turnovers when it mattered

no ones talking about norwell because they havent beaten any legit teams.

the coho norwell game is for girls basketball just to clear things up.

cohasset handled carver today on the road. martin had 33 and possibly a triple double with rebounds and blocks. gilmore was nice for carver shooting the ball.

Teague however you spell his name from abington easily the most overrated player in the league. Without lapointe setting him up hes nothing.
Harwich actually winning a league game is the biggest surprise.

still dont get what is wrong with carver. that team is to talented to be playing the ball they are playing. hows abington looking for the tourney? a 2-3-4-5 seed in their sights? maybe even the #1?

Say what u will about harwich but they r playing much improved basketball. At game against EB at their place( shitty gym by the way eb that is) and it was a great game truly. Eb tied it as time expired and harwich was down by one with 2 seconds in ot and bianco hit a runner to win it. Previously they played carver neck and neck at home and did lose by 8 but they did lead late. Plus the mashpee win and giving norwell a great game up ther i dont quite think they belong at the bottom. however we will see next week as they play coho and hull at home. Harwich is 7-7 right now playing better.most underated player in league is pg Beaudoin from harwich, truly has a lot a game smarts and passing ability. They know they need a few wins to actually possibly get in tourney. They have seemed hungry as of late

ur right about the out of leagugue schedulehowever they did beat mv but ive seen them play recently and they have been much improved thats all. hence the victory at east bridgewater in ot who just beat hull recently Didnt east b lose to cohasset in ot also? Its not like anyone in the SSl has a good out of conference schedule. I mean the only team that scheduled someone out of conference that had the potential to be good was abington who scheduled natick who plain and simply blows. and so what harwich is 7-7, at least that team is hsowing more heart right now then most teams in that ssl

abington wouldnt hang in the patriot league cause theyd have to go there fr every sport. harwich should move to the lighthouse conference. better fit, better competition for how they play. question is who would get added in? maybe sacred heart who dominates everyone in the mayflower in every sport? other then that i got no one

ur right beudoin isnt the point guard and robinson is and hes the one who turns the ball over not beaudoin. he was robbed of his point guard position by the coach and should b the only one bringin up the ball for them. he doesnt score but averages close to 15 assissts a game. thats impressive on any level of basketball. And another thing maybe harwich should go to mayflower i agree with that BUT this year in ssl only clear cut good team is abington. Examples. hull lost at home to eb. harwich beat eb on road. harwich also beat mashpee. mashpee beat norwell. i dont wanna hear about carver. evryone was wrong about them. they lost again last nite. plus hull beat cohasset. these scores prove that aside from the bing, any team can win on any night in this league. Obviously harwich will need to beat either cohasset or hull next week to get any respect and that is totally fine because like i said before they r playing better ive seen it. Their big man had 30 against eb and 26 against carver and that is why theyve been better.

Carver plays only 1 team that is division 1 at that plymouth north and 3teams that are division 2 sandwich, plymouth north and somerset. carver hasnt been the same since the christams tourney in wareham. and for plymouth south they may be the worst d1 team in all of d1 by far. and having plymouth north, sandwich and somerset on ur schedule dosent speak much of ur "out of conference schedule" all 3 of those teams are pathetic this year. nobody in the ssl plays anyone decent in their out of conference schedule except hull and cohasset and thats because they ran into dedham. thats about it
