    Places to take out-of-towners

We've all been there: A sister/mom/father-in-law/college friend has made last-minute plans to visit Boston. Oh, and they're coming tomorrow.

Where would you take your visitor for a guaranteed good time? Is there a bar or restaurant that always impresses non-locals? What if your guest decided to stay for the weekend? Suggested itineraries?

That would greatly depend on how much money you are willing to spend, who the person is, and what season it is. Obviously you aren't going to take in-laws to the same place you'd take a college friend (or would you?) and you aren't going to be ice-skating on the frog pond in June. How long have you lived in the Boston area? There are COUNTLESS things to do and places to go, sporting events, museums, pubs and restaurants, walking tours, duck tours, ghost tours, tax-free shopping.... try to use whats left of your imagination (assuming you had one as a child)!!
