By this time last year we had skiied 3 or 4 times. We haven't been up once this year even with all the snow. I think alot of people are staying closer to home and not doing as much "extra" stuff. We don't have any plans to get away until February vacation.

Waterville, Killington, Loon, Stowe, Mt. Snow, Cannon, six mountains on six weekend days with relatively decent conditions. Waited more than a minute in line ONCE at Loon for the gondola. Seems folks are staying home. Haven't felt crowded at all out there. Maybe I'm just going to the right places on the right days.

I've been out just over 20 days now. I agree there have been very short lift lines. Loon had a short wait on Saturday during the MLK weekend. I think they all left at 2:00 though. It's pretty much ski onto the chair. It feels like a private club and the lifties are there for me!
