How about Joyce Chen? Even though she was from China, she made Cambridge her home and had three restaurants here. -

How about author Alice HOffman? Not only has she written more than 25 books, including Practical Magic and Aquamarine (both made into films) but she also donated money to Mount Auburn Hospital to form the Hoffman Breast Center where women can receive needed services and treatment. No woman is turned away. Alice herself is a breast cancer survivor and was treated at Mount Auburn. She deserves recognition over some you mentioned. hello Dane Cook???? -

Thanks for all the suggestions! We've added Tip O'Neill, Max Casella, and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. We'll keep looking into these other folks mentiond here and will add them after they've been verified.Re: e.e. cummings-- The discussion on whether or not to uppercase his name spelling is very compelling and has inspired several debates. (I think even he wasn't consistent in how he portrayed his name) Either way, we've stuck with how our stylebook says we should capitalize his name.Re: farnsquare-- Those cities are definitely on the list of towns we'd like to add. It all depends on whether there's enough famous folks to justify it. But we're looking into them (eventually)!
