    Dumpster

    Just wondering.....Are there any ordinances about private buisnesess having dumpsters on public sidewalks.............If so why is the charter school allowed to have one in front of the old Maplewood fire station. It is clearly on the sidewalk and has been for weeks......

    IF IT IS A PRIVATE CONTRACTOR THE CONTRACTOR HAS TO HAVE A
    PERMIT AND AGAIN THERE ARE RULES ON WHERE THEY CAN BE LOCATED. CALL INSPECTIONAL SERVICES OR JEFF MANSHIP AT THE
    DPW HE CAN TELL YOU WHAT THE GUIDELINES ARE;

    Re: Dumpster

    According to the City of Malden website, dumpsters and moving pods are not allowed on streets and sidewalks, because they can cause damage.

    Re: Dumpster

    Perhaps it belongs to the City of Malden and the MFD since they have been in there cleaning out the Station of their stuff for weeks. Normally when you leave a place you are supposed to leave it cleaned out.  Nice try once again to caste aspersions.

    MVCSParent---Must have a guilty mind set, all that was ask what are the rules of having a dumpster on a street or sidewalk, no one is
    accusing anyone one of anything. Stop being nervous -----or scared

    unless something is being done illegally.

    I find the dumpster a danger to all. Someone could walk into it, or trip over it and fall inside. And you do not want to be trapped in that with all the mold and harmful things and stuff.
