    Hey farenella,

I know I have gone to MFTA's website and read the blog. What about you? If you have, what's the title of the entry dated Thursday July 15 2010 and what is the gist of it?

Also, I've posted the MFTA's contact information in my last post on this thread. Have you contacted them yet regarding your questions? You can post the feedback after you hear back from them...

       Have a nice day.

    Re: Helping Malden

    farenella,

You keep on rehashing the same old stuff over and over again, no wonder the other folks on these message boards are getting tired of your posts and complaining about you.

Posters 1775andStillADemocrat and AnnieOMalden have been active with the MTFA on the PAYT issue ever since that issue came up in 2008, and they were interviewed and covered in the news articles here when they were successful in getting the "Repeal the PAYT program" question on the ballot box in the local elections last year, by campaigning to get enough signatures on their petition drive. How long have you lived here? Were you living in Malden during that time?  If not, then you missed this whole event and process. If you do a search on the articles in Boston.com you will find what I am referring to.

I remember that campaign by the MTFA clearly because it was all over the news in Malden, and that was the only question on the ballot. To me, what posters like 1775andStillADemocrat and AnnieOMalden (and others involved in the campaign) did is enough to earn my respect and admiration. I am far from being an activist but I have paid closer attention to local politics since 2008, and I intend to do so going forward.

So, it really bothers me that you would go on these message boards putting down and deriding people like 1775andStillADemocrat, who have have tried to do things that would benefit Malden residents and have a track record to prove it, whereas you keep on mouthing off your agenda with your aggressive, in-your-face tactics.

Take a step back and think about this:

Don't you realize that you are not getting anywhere with your approach and that it's time to change your tactics, and try to implement change in City Hall through different means, because you are just butting your head against the wall by trying to harass the Mayor and City Council with your so-called proposals, and trying to shout down other people's opinions on these message boards?

Don't you realize that nobody is listening to you because of your obsessive, obnoxious behavior, and your inability to conduct a reasonable and rational discussion here?

    Hey folks,

I appreciate your passion, and your interest, but I have to ask you to cut out the personal attacks. We don't like name calling or threats.
Let's stick to the issues -- there are plenty of them.

    Thanks.
