"Saving" parking spots w/chairs and other trash

Ah, yes. Big snow, nobody wants to shovel, so the tradition begins: find an old chair, broken saw horses, whatever, and leave it in the street so nobody can park in "your" spot.
Those Southie morons have been doing this for years; heck, they're PROUD of their junked up winter streets. And now I'm seeing this spreading in Somerville.
Hey, Somerville residents: if ONE able bodied person from EACH house shoveled out ONE spot, then we wouldn't have to leave trash in the steet... and we won't become South Boston.
